It's September 1st...

...and that means the coming of so many wonderful things. I absolutely love autumn...my favorite season! But it also means that we have a NEW Unity kit of the month, Go Ahead Wish!

Isn't it cute?

And like every month, the DT is showing off the new kit with this month's kit of the month challenge. You can participate using August or July kits and will have a chance to win a FREE kit of the month! The challenge this month was to use the colors purple, orange, green and black on your project. Here is mine...
Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co. Sept kom- Go Ahead Wish
*Unity Stamp Co. Hauntingly Sweet (sentiment)
*Pink Paislee patterned papers and die-cut
*watercolor pencils

Go check out what the rest of the girls have done with this challenge:

I created another card using one of the stamps from the new kom using this week's CPS sketch (#131). I am not so sure about the design on this one, but it was late when I was working on it so I decided that it would work. Below the peacock is one of the new backgrounds from Unity, the worn ledger paper, that you can find in your local store and online.
Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co. Sept kom- Go Ahead Wish
*Unity Stamp Co. Worn Ledger paper
*Scenic Route papers
*Heidi Swapp flowers
*Fiskars border punch
*ribbon
*brads
*marvy uchida circle punches
*******

Then here are some photos that I took of the kids playing football in the backyard last night while I cooked turkey burgers on the grill.

I would type more, but that cute little one is in meltdown mode at my feet as I type...

She really is cute, too. I need that ledger stamp. Think I can claim it as a school expense?
