It's my Challenge for M4TW...

Every week Paper Makeup Stamps hosts a fun challenge issued by one of the design team where you can win some free PMS rubber.

This week was my week to issue the challenge and since I just had my 40th birthday, I decided to issue a challenge based around the number "40".

For this challenge, you can use any embellishment that you want, but they must be used in increments of 4 (i.e. you use one brad, then your project needs to have 4 brads on it; you use one ribbon, there needs to be 4 ribbons on there.) The second part is that your main focal piece (usually your stamped part) must be in a circle for the "0" part of the challenge...obviously ovals are acceptable too. ;o)

And here is my card that I created for the challenge using Tweet Things...

My obvious embellishments are the buttons which as you can see, I included 4 of, but there are also some not so obvious embellishments that are also in increments of 4...notice the borders here. There are 4 layers of punched borders in there (making good use of all my new punches that I bought on my birthday.)

Supplies used:
*Paper Makeup Stamps Tweet Things
*October Afternoon Christmas collection (Be Jolly...is that right?)
*Martha Stewart doily tag
*corner rounder
*circle cutter
*Marvy Uchida circle punches
*Martha Stewart border punches (3 fancy ones)
*Fiskars border punch (plain scallop)
*buttons
*watercolor pencils
*StazOn jet black inkpad

There are also 4 layers of circles in my main image...the kraft punch, one of martha stewarts doily tags, the red layer, then the brown layer.

Ready to play along???

The details of the challenge

You can win a single stamp of your choice and all you have to do is:
  1. Do the challenge
  2. Use PMS images (stamped or digi)
Easy peasy, huh?  Well, what are you waiting for?  Link up your creation by midnight on Wednesday to the PMS blog post to be included in the Thursday Showoff and to be in the drawing for some free rubbah.  While you don't have to use Paper Makeup Stamps to play in the challenge, you do need to use them to be entered in the drawing.  Don't forget to mention the challenge in your post, and if you are posting to SCS or PCP use the key M4TW39.  Be sure to link directly to your post.
