Friday Fun...really LATE!

I started out the day running late and that state of being has just gotten worse and worse throughout the day today. *sigh* So sorry to the girls that I am running so late today.

Today's Friday Fun Challenge is from Kimme:
May 27.... Based on a memory, any memory about anything.

When we lived in England, we took a whirlwind 3-day trip to Paris which was absolutely amazing. All three of us (Ben, Jacob, and I) will tell you that it absolutely was one of the best trips that we have ever taken. I have so many photos of the amazing architecture and streets from there. One of the things that amazed me was how ornate everything was...even all the light posts, so this is my memory...a bookmark to help commemorate that trip and my love of Paris.

Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co. Ooh la la
*Prima paper collection
*brads
*StazOn jet black ink pad
*Nestabilities labels die
*button
*ribbon
*bookmark sleeve

At a loss on my off-Thursdays...

For years now, Thursday's have meant Unity Hip-Hop.

About a month ago, the team divided so that we get a little break and do Hip-hop every other week. I love that, but it's taking me some mental time to figure out what to do with my Wednesday evenings. I ALWAYS prep for hip-hop Wed. evening...so I thought that on my off-weeks, I would start creating something inspired by someone else.
This week's card is inspired by this Suzi Blu card that Nat created.

This card uses one of those gorgeous new Unity Stamp Co backgrounds that Lesley Langdon created...I LOVE THESE!!!

Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co. Strawberry Greetings
*Faber-Castel Teal pastel pencil
*red watercolor pencil
*Palette burnt umber ink pad
*Martha Stewart border punch
*DCWV patterned paper
*jute twine
*May Arts kraft envelope
*various trims
*buttons
*MM flower

you may purchase them individually for $9 each OR opt for them ALL for $22!
and while you are shopping Unity - take a peek at all the itty bitty stamps we have on sale for only $4.50 each AND past kit of the month stamps for only $26.

it is a tooty fruity sale in honor of the TOOTY FRUITY challenge that we are hosting this month!

Hello everyone! I owe you some winners from last week's Design Memory Craft feature...

Winner #1 was chosen from Day 2 and was the 3rd commenter...
 michib said...

another beautiful card! Is that the trick, to spray the stamp with water first? As I tried using watercolour crayons on a Unity stamp once and it seemed hard to do - will need to try again with misting the stamp with water before colouring. Thanks for the inspiration.

Winner #2 was chosen from Day 1 and was the 10th commenter...
