All things Holidays for Nov 1st....

Hello Everyone!
I have a couple of things to share with you today.

First, it's the first of the month so that means that it's time for another new Unity Stamp Co. Kit of the month release!

Such a fun kit and I think that I am definitely going to do something along the lines of the design of this card for my Christmas cards this year.

I didn't realize until I was almost through making this card that the new frame in this kit matches the Labels 5 diecut from Nestabilities!!! LOVE THAT!!! And as you can see, I took advantage of that and seriously layered up those cuts!

Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co. Nov. Kit Picture Perfect
*Basic Grey paper collection
*Quickutz embossing folder
*Nestabilities labels 5 dies
*Martha Stewart border punch and seam binding
*Palette burnt umber and haystack inks
*CTMH garnet ink
*corner rounder
*******************
And now for a quick photo re-cap of yesterday. As well as being Halloween, Sundays are the day that Jacob does the yard. Kat was helping him sweep as a witch...somehow appropriate.

Then she dressed up in her real costume...a fairy ballerina.

Unfortunately, our neighborhood of 12 houses is a little TOO quiet...only 2 were playing with Halloween so the trick or treating was kind of a bust. We will have to come up with a better game plan for next year....

Have a great Monday everyone!

Christi, I'm in love with your card and the new kit! I love all the layers, the way you stamped that flower behind the sentiment. Now you're enabling me to buy the Labels 5 nesties, too. Sigh. :)

Thanks also for the amazingly sweet comment you left on my blog! Sorry to hear that Halloween was a bust but Kat sure was cute, both as a witch in wellies and a fairy princess!
