{post #2 of 2 today. My Limelight Papercrafts sketch post is located below this one.}

Good morning Unity peeps!! I have a layout to share with you today using the January kit of the month, Savor the Journey...
I had stamped that sentiment "You are my Heart" on the Anna Griffin jounaling spot for another project and then didn't use it so I was looking for some way to use it and this layout was born.

This photo of all of us together was taken at my mom's house over the summer. Kind of funny, one of our few family photos that we have and it was actually taken when we were on separate vacations. Jacob & Ben had just finished 10 days hiking/backpacking through New Mexico and swung through Midland, Texas to pick up his canoe (that my parents have stored for us for about 5 years) where Kat & and I were visiting my parents. We were there together only about 12 hours...LOL!

Lots of stamps here from the kit of the month. I can already see that I am going to be using that medallion stamp a TON! I love that it fits into the 2 1/2" Marvy Uchida scallop punch (the pink one.) If you didn't see, I did a whole set of monogram cards earlier in the week using it that you can see HERE.

Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co. Savor the Journey
*Pink Paislee paper collection
*Anna Griffin journaling spot
*watercolor pencils
*Palette Burnt Umber inkpad
*Marvy Uchida scallop circle punch
*We R Memory Keepers suede flowers
*Making Memories metal embellishments

Be sure to go check out what the rest of the design team has created (links are in the right sidebar) and the sales that Unity has going on via the Unity blog....

One of the reasons I love checking out the dt blogs are because you always seem to use the stamps that didn't really stand out to me when I first look at the kit - then I have so many wonderful ideas in my head before the kit even arrives!! I don't even think I noticed the medallion stamp but it is gorgeous!!
