April 1st- All New Unity Fun!!!

The first of the month always brings fun new things to Unity Stamp Co!

We get the actual reveal of the new kit of the month for April...

Don't you love all those gorgeous stamps?
How the heck do these kits continue to get better and better?!?!

We get to meet our new Guest Designer...Welcome to Julie Campbell!!!

And this month, it also brings the introduction of an All-New Contest!

Each month some of our design team members will be participating in a challenge with the new KOTM. Starting in May we will be opening this challenge to you, the Unity customer! Would you like to be a guest designer? This is your chance! What do you need to play? The KOTM! Your first opportunity to enter will be May the first and you will need the April KOTM to play. Are you game?.... Watch this thread for more details!!

Are you up for the challenge?!? There could be a guest DT spot just for you!!! The kit of the month and some creativity is all you need so be sure that you sign up for the kit! I can't wait to see what all you come up with! It's going to be a fabulous contest!!

For today, we decided to start gearing up for new challenges, so Jennifer Buck issued the DT a challenge to apply to the April kom...
1.) a spring themed card/or Layout
2.) using the colors pink, blue, green, and yellow
3.) and adding sewing on the card...either faux or real

And now I will share what I did for the contest using the A
pril kit of the month...a layout!
This is a photo that I took last Friday under the dogwood trees that are blooming out on base. I used 3 stamps out of the April kit (butterfly, birdie branch, and butterfly flower silhouettes) and cheated a little book and took the "a day to remember" stamp out of last month's kit.
Supplies Used:
*Unity Stamp Co.
*Unity Stamp Co. Simple Life
*Pink Paislee paper (pink background) and alpha stickers
*K&Co. papers (blues)
*Webster's pages paper (photo mat)
*MM journaling piece
*Bazzill ribbon
*Martha Stewart border punch
*embroidery floss

Now go check out what the rest of the girls did with this challenge...

what a wonderful creation. I love that she is all bundled up for this spring page. That's how spring is here, chilly but you can't resist being outside!
