Okay, you all know that I have certain things that I am trying to do better with this blog, but I am thinking that for this month, we should just ignore them. Hehe!
NaNoWriMo is kicking my butt, but not in a bad way. I am actually loving the process...AND my book. BUT my goal is 100,000 words in 30 days. That's a TON of work...just over 3000 words/day...and that's if I don't delete anything. Right now, I am a little bit behind on that goal. My book is sitting at 17,500 words....it needs to be at 21,000 by the end of the day today and I have already been writing for a couple of hours. *eeks*
Btw, I will have another excerpt from this book posted on Wednesday...the scene where Chris & Cassie met Jake when they were kids.
So if I am seem quiet this month, that is why. I am also still trying to keep up on my stamping and reading obligations (which means reading an average of a book/day) and trying to keep the health department from coming over and tenting my house as a bio-hazard. I am definitely not finding much free time to do things like my normal blogging.
But there is hope on the horizon...
This weekend...4 days, 3 nights.
Completely to myself.
To talk books.
To write.
To rejuvenate.
I am so excited.
And really hopeful that I can manage to get a bit ahead on my writing with all that non 4 year old invaded time.
