Friday Fun Challenge for Friends with Flair!

It's Friday!!

....and that means tomorrow is Saturday which is a VERY GOOD DAY!

But first, I have to get through today!

So how about some Friday Fun thrown in with some Friends with Flair to pass the time?

It's a very good thing!

Today's challenge comes to us from Kimme....

March 5: Back to basics~ I had so much fun with Sherry's challenge last month I decided to do a Back to Basics Challenge as well. This week make a card with NO COLORING. Get out your solid stamp images and colored ink pads and stamp on your card. Extra points if you even STAMP your background and don't use any patterned paper. Don't break out in a cold sweat, we can do this ;)

You girls know, I am not a Back to Basics gal, but I just received this gorgeous pearlescent card stock and thought it would be perfect for this challenge.

Can you see it? All of this card stock has a shimmery finish that looks just like pearls. It is GORGEOUS!!! It came from www.CutCardStock.com and all of these colors are from the Stardream Metallic Sample Pack.

I wasn't sure how it would stamp because of the finish on it, but I used my StazOn and it stamped just like butter...so easy and dried pretty much immediately. I plan on playing with some other inks to see how they do, but I just haven't had the chance to yet.
