Project Catch-Up Day!!!

It's Monday and my list of to-do things seems to be a mile long after playing the last week and a half with my mom, but that is totally okay because we had such a fun visit. Unfortunately, we only get to play together a couple of times a year so we have learned to take full advantage of the time that we do get together {i.e we waste TONS of time playing many, MANY games of Scrabble.} ;o)  But for us that is absolute quality time!

But now I need to do a bit of catch-up on here. I have had several projects posted for the Unity activities that never made it onto the ol' blog here... so if you have seen these before elsewhere then I apologize for the repetition, but I like to have everything on here too.

First up is a couple of projects that I made for the Unity blog. The layout was of a photo that I took the day that Kat & I took the day off to go play at St. Charles, MO.

This layout is a perfect example of how you can make those little 6x6 paper pads work for 12x12 scrapbooking pages. All the patterned paper on here is 6x6. For the pink piece, I just overlaid the edges where they matched and unless you run your finger across the seam, you can't even tell that it's been pieced together.

Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co. Fresh Beginnings (butterfly flowers & swirl stamps)
*Unity Stamp Co. Simple Life (journaling block & a day to remember stamps)
*Making Memories Girl Just Chillin 6x6 paper collection
*Making Memories Girl Just Chillin Fabric tag
*buttons
*Marvy Uchida Scallop Oval punch
*Bazzill cardstock

This card was featured on the Unity blog too a couple of weeks ago...

*lace trim
*Martha Stewart border punch
*flat-backed pearls
*corner punch

This card is one that I made for the Unity birthday celebration. It was used for the game where you had to identify the artist that made each card.

Supplies Used:
*Unity Stamp Co. Endings & Beginnings
*MM papers
*brads
*StazOn Jet Black inkpad
*Martha Stewart border punch

Finally, this is another one of the cards that I made while on vacation. I don't really like this card much and I have no idea why...it just doesn't appeal to me (and I have reworked it several times,) but I thought that I would go ahead and post it anyway. ;o) Other people tend to like the ones that I don't...I have no idea why that works that way!

Supplies Used:
*Unity Stamp Co. Endings&Beginnings
*MM papers
*watercolor pencils
*Martha Stewart border punch
*copper brads
*watercolor pencils
*ribbon
*Bazzill kraft paper

Also, I know that I am running seriously behind on last weeks Exercise. It will still probably be a couple of days before that is up as I am working on projects for a deadline right now so try to be patient with me.
