A New Week - A New Post

You know after 650+ blog posts, it becomes harder and harder to come up with new post titles...LOL!

Happy Monday everyone! Did you watch the superbowl? Is that just a stupid question...is it possible in this country to NOT watch the superbowl? If you don't watch, how will you ever be able to discuss the commercials? We kind of watched it here--two times over. On the main floor of the house, Ben and I were watching it while playing on the computer and reading. In the basement, Jacob had some friends over watching it and playing football at the same time. It turned out to be a pretty good game and I thought for a minute there that the Cardinals might actually win...Oh well. My favorite commercial was the one about the diet coke for guys...LOVED it!

I have a couple more layouts to share with you from my scrapbooking weekend...

This first layout is one that I did based on Amy's challenge/sketch from VSBN. I had printed up a whole bunch of these thumbnail sized photos of this day at the park and they were perfect to work with her sketch.

Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co. Keeper of my Heart
*Unity Stamp Co. Friendship, Love, Miracles (trees)
*Creative Imagination Karen Russell paper (background)
*Fresh Paint paper (turquoise)
*Scenic Route paper (red)
*October Afternoon paper (red/blue scallop oval title piece)
*Martha Stewart border punches (three different ones)
*Marvy Uchida scallop punches
*dictionary paper
*eyelet trim
******************************************
The challenge for this second layout was to create a layout using some of the supplies that you have been hoarding, using a favorite sketch. The sketch came from the Pencil Lines site, sketch #102.

This photo is one that I have been hoarding because I just love it and wanted to create the perfect layout with it. I don't know if I accomplished that, but it is done now.

Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co. Enjoy Your Story...Laugh (journaling frame)
*Pink Paislee paper (orange and green)
*MM paper (purples)
*MM brads
*Crafty Secrets ephemera
*Hambly ATC transparency
*MM trim
