I stole my post title off the waiting on hip hop thread this morning...I thought that it was appropriate...
Good Morning Hip-Hopping Unity Peeps!!!
I just have a couple of little projects to share with you this morning. The first is a card that I was beginning to think just wasn't going to come together (something is wrong with the grammar in this sentence...LOL!)
Good Morning Hip-Hopping Unity Peeps!!!
I just have a couple of little projects to share with you this morning. The first is a card that I was beginning to think just wasn't going to come together (something is wrong with the grammar in this sentence...LOL!)
I had found the cutest little muffin cups at Walmart and just new that I could somehow create some sort of medallion using them and my Marvy scallop punches and it actually worked!
To create the medallion, I just flattened out the cups and then mushed them together a bit in the center so they still had a bit of fullness. The top one, I mushed more so that it got smaller. Then I just glued them together with my FabriTac. Under that harlequin circle stamp is a MM snowflake, but when your last name is Snow, then I figure that you (meaning me) can get away with using snowflakes on anything including Valentines Day cards. ;o)
There are two stamps on here...the love is from the Be Owl Mine kit and is colored using the watercolor pencils (I don't think that I really have to tell y'all that anymore do I?) The other stamp is the circle harlequin in the center of the medallion and that is from the Time For Travel kit.
Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co. Be Owl Mine kit
*Unity Stamp Co. Time for Travel kit
*cupcake cups
*Marvy Uchida scallop punches
*Bazzill Cardstock
*watercolor pencils
*gingham brads
*ribbon
*Fiskars Treading Water border punch

This second project is a little bitty notebook that I created for a friend that I am going to miss a great deal as she just moved (miss you already, Amy!!!) It measures about 3x3 and is full of graph paper so it is perfect to carry around with you in your purse to create sketches when the inspiration hits (because she is cool like that and does gorgeous sketches!)
Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co. It's the Little Things (sentiment)
*Unity Stamp Co. Enjoy Your Story....Laugh (deer)
*MME paper (green)
*Fresh Paint paper (turquiose)
*Marvy Oval punches
*CTMH Breeze inkpad
*Martha Stewart border punch
*watercolor pencils
*brads
*StazOn black inkpad
Now head on over to Jen E's blog...I know that she is going to have some gorgeous scrappy goodness to share with you this morning!

Are you ever talented! You could accompany this card with a yumming pink-frosted chocolate cupcake (in the same paper of course) or a dozen of them - that would be a hit for Valentine's Day!
