So far, the only rooms pretty much done are the kitchen and Kat's room...it's going to be a long week. BUT Yay! I am so glad that it is all here!!!

Dandy Wishes Review Day

We are reviewing the Dandy Wishes stamp set new release from Paper Makeup Stamps today!

For the design of my card, I used a couple of challenges out there in blogland.

The first challenge that I used was the Color Throwdown Challenge for this week. If you haven't heard, this is their 100th challenge and they are celebrating in a HUGE way with tons of sponsors (including Paper Makeup Stamps) and prizes. Go check it out!

Also, I used this weeks SFYTT sketch.

Supplies used:
*Paper Makeup Stamps Dandy Wishes
*Paper Makeup Stamps Life is Lonely sentiment
*Basic Grey 6x6 Olivia paper collection
*flat back gems
*Nestabilities labels diecut
*button
*Sharpie white poster marker

And I am totally ordering this stamp below to stamp on the inside of this card.
So perfect AND on sale! ;o)
Be sure to check out the PMS blog all this week for all the incredible review cards for inspiration!

BTW, the PMS site is having lots of internal error messages. Katie is aware of the problem and working VERY HARD to get the issues resolved with the web designer. Thank you so much for your patience with the issue (it is really frustrating for everyone!) Usually if you just hit "refresh" it will resolve the momentary glitch in the system.

Graphic 45 Store kit hop

Today is the second Saturday of the month, so that means that it is time to share some projects using the new Unity July store kit. I ADORE this months kit.

*Graphic 45 Transatlantique paper collection
*Stazon Jet black ink pad

Fabulous Friday!

Our stuff finally comes today!!!
Yippeee!!!
But because I have been so busy getting the final things done in the house, I don't have my Friday Fun Challenge done for today...and it was a FABULOUS challenge this week. I still hope to get it done within the next week, but here is the challenge in case you are interested, from Sherry:
July 9th- Since it is Alex’s birthday week the challenge is to
make a masculine birthday card that is appropriate for a young adult.

Be sure to check out the other Friday Fun Girls blogs for more inspiration.

We would love for you to play with us-
just use keyword FFC90 when uploading to your SCS gallery.
Jimmi (out this week, I think, but go give her some love anyway)
Sherry (also out, but because she has a fabulous new job, so go congratulate her!)
Kimme
Sara

And if you would like to see some of the progress on the house, here are a few photos.

Kat's room...

We only painted the one wall (mainly because I wasn't sure I could handle the ENTIRE room painted this color...LOL!) and then I added all these fabulous vinyl decals from EAD.

The vinyl decal above the window in my craft room (which is ENTIRELY painted this color which I LOVE!) This vinyl is also from EAD! LOVE Emily....she's awesome to order from!

Then this is Jacob's room (his living room side.) I thought this dark shade of grey was going to be too dark, but he was right...it looks awesome!

Hopefully, by this time next week, the whole house will be full of furniture (with NO more boxes) and decorated! Wish me luck for a VERY productive week (that is, if the truck ever arrives in our pouring rain that we are having here today.)

Graphic 45 + Unity Stamps = PERFECTION

We are featuring Graphic45 paper collections this week along with our Unity rubber.

For my card, I used this week's Unity sketch and simply turned it so that it would work with that awesome sentiment stamp from the Donna Downey kit, She...

I had these awesome metal lacy brads from Making Memories which were already perfectly vintage looking, but to go with the fashion theme of the look, I added a flat-backed pearl to the center of each of them...

Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co. She
*Making Memories Lacy Brads
*Flat-back pearls
*trim
*Martha Stewart border punch
*Nestabilities labels diecut

Three Challenges in One Card!

Good morning!
I got up this morning and needed to make 3-4 cards for my various dt stuff and challenges for today. *eek* After a quick chat with Sherry on Facebook, she convinced me that I could combine some of them so this is my 3 cards in 1 for Friday. Yippee!!!
So what all am I doing with this one card?
*Friday Fun Challenge for today
*Friends with Flair for Unity

First of all the challenge part of this card...
Our Friday Fun challenges this month are brought to us from Sherry and she is about to start a new job (yay, Sherry!) so this was her challenge:
Since it’s my last week at Eagle Transport before I start my new job the challenge is to make a Congratulations, Farewell, or We Miss You card.  The catch- there has to be a bird on it somewhere (doesn’t have to  be an eagle- any bird will work.)

Be sure to check out the other Friday Fun Girls blogs for more inspiration.

We would love for you to play with us-
just use keyword FFC89 when uploading to your SCS gallery.

This card is using supplies from this month's Caffinated Cropper kit, Pocket Full of Sunshine. Everything that is, except for the tools....Unity stamps, inkpad, border punch, and watercolor pencils.

This kit is so amazing. I LOVE IT!!! Go check out what the other girls are doing with it on the Caffinated Cropper hop which starts at Amy's blog. If you have been following it along, then now you need to head on over to...

Big Announcement with Paper Makeup Stamps!!

Today is a fabulous day for some very fun, talented girls. After MUCH deliberation, Katie, Christi, and Tangii chose the new girls for the Paper Makeup Stamps Design Team. I am so excited about this team. Fantastic talent in this list...every day I pinch myself. I am so lucky to be a part of this amazing team!!!

Christi Snow (ME!)

And now, simply because I am posting about PMS, you know that I have to share a new PMS card with you! I created this card last night using this week's Mercy's Tuesday Sketch (#80- MTSC80.)

While we were in the process of moving, I had set up a coloring bag full of my watercolor pencils and PMS stamped images to color while the packers were working, sitting in hotel rooms, etc. This is one of those images and it took me about 45 minutes last night to figure out what the heck paper line I had colored this little guy to go with...LOL! I finally figured it out...Basic Grey Max & Whiskers.

Supplies used:
*Paper Makeup Stamps Angie the Angelfish
*Basic Grey Max & Whiskers 6x6 paper collection
*Nestabilities labels diecut
*Martha Stewart border punches (2 different ones)
*ribbon
*watercolor pencils

Now, please go visit all the new girls blogs and give them some love.
I have them marked with the three *** above in the design team list!
