Good Monday Morning everyone!!
Sorry about last week.
I just up and abandoned the blog here, didn't I?
It wasn't intentional.
I got caught up in a series of books.
Then I got sick.
Then I was simply too behind to do anything.
But now I am back!
Whoa! 116 comments on my Authentique & Unity blog hop post!?!
AND I didn't even share my FAVORITE Authentique card that I have created lately...
aww, I just love this card! Is that wrong to say? hehe!!
I just want to stare at it because it makes me happy.

Well, the same things that kept me from blogging last week, also kept me from writing, but when I did get some time to write, it was very successful. It's been a really good writing week. So, I need you all to chime in. I have been working on both
So, I am leaving it up to you.
Which one would you like a new excerpt from for the Wednesday Writing post???
Chime in & VOTE!
So, I mentioned that I got caught up in a book series last week. The book series was the Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead. Did you know that there is a whole group of us that have created an online book club group, The Chick-Lits.
Well, this month's book is the first book in the Georgina Kincaid series, Succubus Blues:
Our chit chat about it doesn't start until the 15th, so you still have time to read it and join us!
Here is a brief story overview:
Succubus (n.) An alluring, shape-shifting demon who seduces and pleasures mortal men. Pathetic (adj.) A succubus with great shoes and no social life. See: Georgina Kincaid.
When it comes to jobs in hell, being a succubus seems pretty glamorous. A girl can be anything she wants, the wardrobe is killer, and mortal men will do anything just for a touch. Granted, they often pay with their souls, but why get technical?
But Seattle succubus Georgina Kincaid's life is far less exotic. Her boss is a middle-management demon with a thing for John Cusack movies. Her immortal best friends haven't stopped teasing her about the time she shape-shifted into the Demon Goddess getup complete with whip and wings. And she can't have a decent date without sucking away part of the guy's life. At least there's her day job at a local bookstore—free books; all the white chocolate mochas she can drink; and easy access to bestselling, sexy writer, Seth Mortensen, aka He Whom She Would Give Anything to Touch but Can't.
But dreaming about Seth will have to wait. Something wicked is at work in Seattle's demon underground. And for once, all of her hot charms and drop-dead one-liners won't help because Georgina's about to discover there are some creatures out there that both heaven and hell want to deny. . .
It is such a good book (and series) and I am really excited about our discussion of it.
