It's a 2009 HiP-HOp!!!!

First things, first...
Happy Birthday, Daddy!!!
*********************************************
Good Hip-Hopping morning to you girlies!!!!
Have you checked out the Unity site this morning? Oh my! I am so excited about all the new changes. Angela and Unity are rocking and improving once again!!! I love IT!!!

And how about that new Scrapbooking DT?!?! Wow! They are one seriously talented group of girls...SERIOUSLY!! I love being inspired by them!!!

I have a few new projects to share with you this morning. My Creative Muse decided to go on holiday this week, but thankfully she came home last night when she caught sight of this gorgeous lamp kit, Shine On!

This first project is a simple 5x7 card. This card was started way early in the week as something totally different, but that was when my Muse was on holiday so it just was NOT working....I almost threw it away. Late last night I decided to try and re-vamp it using the new lamp kit and suddenly my Muse was back and cooperating. Whew!

Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co. Shine On!
*Basic Grey paper (yellow and sentiment paper)
*Teresa Collins Transparency (houndstooth)
*MM ribbon
*Stampin Up punches
*black cardstock
***********************************

For my second project, this was a recipe challenge over on the Scrapbooking Challenges of SCS. My recipe was for Chocolate Cake which incorporated: chocolate card, brads, chipboard, doodling, a quote, and some sort of swirl. This is what I came up with....

This was a photo that I took of Kat this week as I was playing with my door photography exercise (more on that tomorrow) and I just love this shot of her. The quote is from Pooh Bear and is one of my favorites: "A day without you is like a day without honey." ~Pooh

Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co. Shine On!
*Creative Imaginations paper (teal and kraft floral)
*Basic Grey paper and brad (lamp shade and sentiment paper
*Heidi Grace brads (brown)
*Bazzill cardstock
*K&Company bare chipboard
*Fiskars threading water border punch
*******************************

My final project is another layout (hmmmm, I am thinking that I was on a Kraft kick this week) and it was created based on Amy's sketch from this week, but once again, I turned it (what is up with that lately?!?!)

Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co. Friendship, Love, and Miracles (butterfly)
*Unity Stamp Co. Remember Happiness (flowers)
*Unity Stamp Co.
*American crafts Vinyl Thickers and ribbon
*watercolor pencils
*Fiskars threading water border punch
*Martha Stewart border punch
*Scenic Route Sonoma collection paper (brown floral)
*Fresh paint Collection paper (red)
*glitter

Now you need to head over to Robyn's gorgeous blog. You are almost to the end of the hop now....
