Big Announcement with Paper Makeup Stamps!!

Today is a fabulous day for some very fun, talented girls. After MUCH deliberation, Katie, Christi, and Tangii chose the new girls for the Paper Makeup Stamps Design Team. I am so excited about this team. Fantastic talent in this list...every day I pinch myself. I am so lucky to be a part of this amazing team!!!

Christi Snow (ME!)

And now, simply because I am posting about PMS, you know that I have to share a new PMS card with you! I created this card last night using this week's Mercy's Tuesday Sketch (#80- MTSC80.)

While we were in the process of moving, I had set up a coloring bag full of my watercolor pencils and PMS stamped images to color while the packers were working, sitting in hotel rooms, etc. This is one of those images and it took me about 45 minutes last night to figure out what the heck paper line I had colored this little guy to go with...LOL! I finally figured it out...Basic Grey Max & Whiskers.

Supplies used:
*Paper Makeup Stamps Angie the Angelfish
*Basic Grey Max & Whiskers 6x6 paper collection
*Nestabilities labels diecut
*Martha Stewart border punches (2 different ones)
*ribbon
*watercolor pencils

Now, please go visit all the new girls blogs and give them some love.
I have them marked with the three *** above in the design team list!

Progress...S.L.O.W.L.Y.

We are here!
In our house in Texas...slowly renovating!
Whew, this is a LOT of work. This is the state of my kitchen as it looks this morning. Everything is finally covered with the primer coat...everything...

which includes 17 drawers and 29 cabinet doors...UGH! The agenda today and tomorrow and probably Friday is to cover it all with 2-3 coats of paint.

Jacob's room is done...

although all that work totally wore Little Bit out! ;o)

And this remains to be the state of affairs with my stamp stuff. Maybe someday soon, I will find time to play with them again...after my hand muscles have recovered. Who would guess that one little muscle in your hand (the one used to hold a paintbrush) could get so sore and worn out! LOL!

I miss you all! Please forgive my silence...

M4TW30...Baby, Baby!

Good Sunday Morning!

This week's Paper Makeup Stamps Makeup 4 The Weekend challenge (M4TW30) was to create a project centered around a baby. I hadn't played with our new baby fairy yet so I just had to get it inky for this challenge...

I paper pieced Jamie's little sleeper and then added glitter to his/her wings using my glue pen.

Supplies Used:
*Paper Makeup Stamps Jamie the Baby Fairy
*October Afternoon Ducks in a Row paper collection
*Nestabilities oval dies
*Martha Stewart seam binding
*button
*glitter
*glue pen
*StazOn jet black inked

Now it's YOUR time to shine!! Make a creation with a baby theme, link it up to Mr. Linky (direct links only please) on the PMS blog, and please mention the challenge in your blog post. That's it! You do not have to use Paper Makeup Stamps but if you've got them why not show them off! If you link up to SCS/PCP please use keyword M4TW30!!

Hello Sunshine - Caffinated Cropper Hop

This is post #2 of 2 for today.
If you are looking for my Friends with Flair/Friday Fun project, it is located below here.

I had so much fun putting together today's card for the CC hop, but before we get to that...go start at Amy's blog (if you didn't do that) so that you know about all the details about the happenings for today!

Now back to this card...so incredibly EASY to put together! I love these gorgeous EAD Stickerz that are included in the kits (Pocketfull of Sunshine kit used here.)

For this card, I simply flipped the gold doily included in the kit over to the backside (which just happens to be white) and attached the stickerz. The sentiment was an open font, but I colored it in with a black sharpie so that it would show up better on the doily. The bow is made from the pipe cleaner which is also part of the kit.

Supplies used:
*Caffinated Cropper Pocketfull of Sunshine kit
*black and white card stock
*sharpie

Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has created! The links are in my sidebar...

Friday Fun Challenge #87...Gone to the Dogs! ;o)

Jimmi is our challenge hostess for this month's Friday Fun Challenges and this was her challenge for this week...

June 18th – I am dog-sitting LOTS of dogs this week so let’s make cards with doggies or kitties on them OR a card for a pet owner!

This is what I created...

Another simple little card...basically playing a lot with my Cuttlebug (I really, REALLY love that thing!) and some of my fun goodies from Limelight Papercrafts.

Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co. Could I be Any Cuter?
*Stampin Up Take Note Die
*Sizzix die cute (little blue)
*Fiskars border punch

Hip Hop, Owls Rock!

It's Thursday which means we are hip-hopping the day away with Unity Stamp Co!

Today I am using a few stamps from the Unity Kit of the month, Fly Free. Stamps from this kit on this card are those sweet little owls, the heart border behind them, and the "so grateful" sentiment...

As is my norm, I used watercolor pencils to color these images, but because I was using them on top of kraft colored cardstock rather than white, I used a MUCH lighter hand with the water than I normally would because I did not want to wash out any of the color vibrancy.

Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co.
*October Afternoon paper collection
*Fiskars border punch
*corner rounder
*watercolor pencils
*Basic Grey ribbon

Now you need to hop on over to Tanis' incredibly inspirational blog...

Unity Samantha Walker- LAST DAY!

Did you SEE those amazing Samantha Walker stamps that Unity released last week?!?!

I was actually one of the lucky few on the DT that released my stamps before the release, managed to make this card in my hotel room, and then could not get the laptop (which is QUICKLY crashing) to load it for me....so I am sharing it with you today instead. ;o)

I paper-pieced that ca-ute little owl...LOVE those flower eyes (which would be really darling with some teeny-tiny buttons or brads, but I did not have those in my hotel room.)

Supplies used:
*Unity Stamp Co. What a Hoot!
*October Afternoon Thrift Shop paper collection
*Fiskars border punch
*Palette Burnt Umber inkpad

Have a great Wednesday everyone!!!
